Jamie E. Sanderson

Associate

    Jamie is a member of the Professional Liability Department and focuses her practice on the representation of law firms, attorneys and employers. With over a decade of prior experience in the insurance industry working with TPAs, carriers, brokers and insurance defense law firms, Jamie is highly knowledgeable of the intricacies of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation. 

    Jamie earned her juris doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law where she participated in the Equal Justice Clinic, providing post-trial relief for a federal inmate, engaging in client and witness interviews, investigation, motion drafting, and collaborating with the federal public defender’s office. Further, during law school, Jamie also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable John Michael Vazquez, a former U.S. District Court Judge in the District of New Jersey. In this role, she conducted extensive legal research and drafted judicial opinions spanning a diverse range of complex commercial litigation cases. 

    Following law school, Jamie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dara A. Govan, J.S.C. in the Union County Superior Court, Civil Division.  During this time, she researched intricate civil matters, wrote bench memos and draft opinions for a heavy civil docket and facilitated constructive resolutions as a certified mediator for small claims, landlord-tenant and district court cases.

    Jamie graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a B.A. in Sociology. In her free time, Jamie enjoys playing tennis and golf, watching basketball and traveling.
